Flagship of the Viking range, the features that set the VK40 Metal Detector apart from the rest of the Viking range are its super sensitive concentric search head and one touch membrane keypad control system.
The large search head allows objects to be detected deeper, while the keypad allows quick switching between detection modes. Processor memory allows the metal detector to be set up as desired and retain those settings whilst not in use.
The VK40 Metal Detector offers 3 modes of detection: Motion Detection for discriminating against lower quality targets, Non-Motion Detection for accurate pinpointing of objects and All-Metal Detection which is an automatically retuning Non-Motion mode allowing the smallest signals from the deepest objects to be heard.
